“It is my belief that an educational leader must serve as a master architect of one of the most challenging and diverse institutions in today’s culture. A successful leader will model, mold and shape this institution, utilizing key indicators to drive a curriculum of excellence that embraces differentiated instruction for all participants, a positive dynamic educational climate and technology integration at its full potential, in order to prepare students for their future in a global community.

My role is to guide the construction and maintenance of an innovative environment and curriculum that connects students to success, by conducting an amazing group of professionals and allowing these professionals an opportunity to steer the course of the school in sound instructional practice.

Somers Academy-The Grammar School has a tradition of being an education establishment of excellence. It has also served as a strong foundation for its students as they progress from the elementary models of education to the private middle and secondary models in the area. The last few years have required an enormous amount of change, patience and empathy among its members. It is my intention to move the school forward by intertwining the traditions of the past with the endless possibilities of the future."
