Our special learning doll named Braidy helps us learn the elements of a story. We use Braidy in our reading and writing projects. Our teacher has us use real coins to find the value of certain amounts so that we will know how to use money in the real world. We demonstrate our school spirit and leadership by creating an interactive bulletin board for our hallway every year. We can all skip-count by 2s, 5s, 10s, and we are very interested in the concept of time. We love to make homophone word rings and to think about word families and the patterns of letters. We help our community firefighters by baking for them when they present their fire prevention lessons in our school. Our teacher always asks us to wonder, suppose, and answer what if questions. We are curious, engaged, and excited about our learning.
